NEW KING OF GENGE ,KATALANG,DOMINATES KISUMU EVENT
Kenyan new King of Genge Lang' Katalang' ,last Sunday night took Kisumu by surprise after displaying the most energetic and rear kind of a performance.
The Campus Preview edition two which went down at the Roan Rooftop Kisumu was one like no other ,bringing together A-list artistes from the lake region.
However all eyes were on this new King who has lately been the talk of social media after grabbing the crown from Juacali.Fans claim.
Katalang' performed twice at the event out of public demand .This was also attributed to his playlist malfunction which led to delay in main performance after his freestyle opener.
Fans went wild especially when the rising star bounced on his new tune Madumedume leaving them with the entire chorus to sing along...."hii ni ngorii ka riot ya Migori"
I must say Katalang' did set the standards way to high for his colleagues except for super freestyler i-Fit who came too close.
Other energized performances of the night include that of Swaleh,that of Dabo B ,Lil Felly,Bolo Blinks,Serienki and Matamu Music.
Roan Campus Preview is a brainchild of Mr. and Miss Maseno.Churchill Okoth and Mercy Cheptoo .
Emcees of the night were Onyulo,Jay the Blaze,Steel,Nyawawah,Tall Mc kelly and many more.
Kisumu's showstoppers CBK Band did make an appearance but they didnt take to the stage to perform.
Drama was witnessed when Maseno University Entertainment & Sports SOMU secretariat hopefuls went head on with each other,putting Tony Collins ahead of is close rival Ousman in terms of fanbaze.
Other notable guests included Mr.JOUST and his Miss counterpart.
Otherwise kudos to Djs Rabar,Blueprint,Heavy,Vinski,Fadinyoz and many more for their informed cordination to ensure there was utmost flow of music in the house.
The presence of Pristine Beats C.E.O Sayn Alex was conspicuous.
