YVONNE SHANNEYZ; MODEL,ACTRESS & MUSICIAN SET TO TAKE OVER THE AFRO_POP MUSIC INDUSTRY IN 2018!

Yvonne Shanneyz 

Born Yvonne Atieno Otiende in Nairobi Pumwani in june 1995, Yvonne schooled at Baseroot academy in Nairobi, and later joineing high school at Aluor Girls High. She ventured into music career in November 2015 through Roy Captain's Super Squad Band as a female Vocalist..

Yvonne's greatest inspiration was Suzanna Owiyo,but mentored by Roy Captain of the Super squad Band. What inspired her was realizing her talent &  quest to communicate to the world through music. Her first recorded song  was 'mapenzi matamu' which was an Afro Ballad ,it did well getting several media plays .

Later she recorded Another Single Titled 'Nipee Mapenzi' which was massively appreciated. She later recorded six more tracks to make it a complete album Titled 'NIPEE MAPENZI YAKO'

So far the Nipee Mapenzi album has 7tracks..Namely: Mapenzi Matamu,Mon Amour,Nipee Mapenzi,Missing You, Fidoh Ochieng, Brenda Onyango, Asembo Pachoo,Collins Omondi,.. The songs basically done in Afro fusion and Zoukrhumba..

Now working on her second album which will be Majorly in Afro Pop.
she choose Afro Pop to strike a balance for my fanbase to grow wider to accommodate Africa as a whole and beyond...,currently Just released the first song of my second album titled NDURU... Nduru is a Luo word
to Mean :'Shoutloud'' ..it's a powerful party song, encouraging people to put their stresses down and dance their heart's out!

 So far she has been able to work with Igwee Bandasson who happens to be the King of zoukrhumba in East Africa,also worked with my mentore Roy Captain and also with Legrand Wuod Fibi..

Shanneyz has received no awards so far but has performed in very major audiences,including media platforms like 10/10 of Citizen TV Kenya, and even in charitable Peace Concerts all over Kenya..

10. Locally she aspires to work with Suzanna Owiyo,Achieng Iddy or Makadem.. Internationally would love to work with Yemy Allade,Tiwa Savage,Alicios,José Chameleone and Mafikizolo of South Africa.

Among many hurdles the greatest Challenge is financial instability.. getting a reliable talent investors is an uphill task... ,then also penetrating the mainstream markets and world market!..
